Vaginal HIFU
A Gentle, Effective Way to Restore Vaginal Health

Menopause is a natural transition, but it often brings uncomfortable symptoms that can affect quality of life. Vaginal dryness, laxity, and discomfort during intimacy are common concerns that many women experience.

What is Vaginal HIFU?

Vaginal HIFU is a non-surgical treatment that uses ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production in the vaginal tissues and muscular wall. This promotes natural tissue regeneration, improving elasticity, lubrication, and overall vaginal health. The treatment works by delivering focused ultrasound waves to the deeper layers of tissue, triggering the body’s natural healing process without damaging the surface skin.
Benefits of Vaginal HIFU

-
Improved Vaginal Tightness: The increased collagen production helps restore tissue elasticity, which can reduce feelings of laxity.
-
Many menopausal women experience vaginal dryness, which can cause discomfort and pain during intercourse. HIFU encourages better moisture production, easing dryness.
-
Strengthening vaginal tissues can also support the bladder and urethra, helping alleviate mild to moderate stress incontinence.
-
By improving tissue health and circulation, many women report enhanced sensation and a more enjoyable intimate experience.

What to Expect During and After HIFU Treatment

The procedure typically takes around 30 minutes. A small, specially designed probe is gently inserted into the vagina, delivering controlled ultrasound energy to targeted areas. Most women describe the sensation as mild warmth or a tingling feeling, with minimal discomfort.
Benefits are usually felt 1-2 months after the first treatment, you can have repeat treatments spaced at least 4 weeks apart. Usually 1-3 treatments are needed. Everybody is different.
The treatment lasts from 12 months to 24 months, we naturally lose collagen when we age. You can have maintenance treatments every 6 months or as needed.
After treatment, you can resume most normal activities immediately, though it’s usually recommended to avoid intercourse for around 3–5 days to allow tissues to settle. Full aftercare advice will be given.
Some women notice improvements within a few weeks, but optimal results usually develop over 2–3 months as collagen continues to rebuild.
A medical consultation is needed before treatment to ensure that HIFU treatment is suitable.
