Microsclerotherapy
Treating Thread Veins or Spider Veins
What is Microsclerotherapy?
Microsclerotherapy is a well-established medical technique, performed for around 100 years, used to treat the thread veins (spider veins or telangiectasia) that commonly appear on the legs. While harmless, these superficial dilated blood vessels can be a cosmetic concern.

The treatment involves inserting a very fine needle into the vein and administering an injection of a sclerosing agent. This safe solution causes the walls of the blood vessel to collapse and shrink, preventing blood flow. After a series of treatments, the targeted vessels will close down completely and gradually disappear.
